Every little thing...

I've been thinking of that Police song ever since I received some magical mail...
Contemplating my fabulous arrivals, I've realising that these three bloggers,
well, I just love everything they do.

So, here's some pics – a visual feast – and if you feel like singing 'Every little thing
they do is magic' I don't blame you one little bit.. :)

Seriously gorgeous fabric and prints from the very talented Ms Belinda at Gretchenmist -
blog and shop.

The most stunning graphic prints from the fabulous Ms Francesca at Mrs Eliot Books
- blog and shop.

And the fresh original prints of the lovely Ms Kerry at Seventy Tree - blog and shop.

Actually, these prints from Kerry are my gift from a Pay it Forward... aren't I lucky? :)
But you know what a Pay it Forward means... yep, my turn to pay.

I'm going to put together five different gift parcels of something I've made... not sure yet
what that will be... it could be a brooch, or some screen printed fabric or some crochet,
I haven't decided. I send one of them to you and then you pay-it-forward to five people
on your blog... simple?... My dad always used to say 'clear as mud' :)

So, if you would like to take part in the Pay it Forward and receive a gift from me,
leave a comment and your contact details below and the first five will be my PiFs :)

Leaving a comment does not mean you sign up for it!
Don't feel bad if you can't (it is a busy time of year!) I'll only count you as in if you say
"count me in", okay? ;)

Unexpected gifts :)

I've had some lovely surprises in the post lately. Firstly, a big thank you to Cindy at Kiss the Birdie who made this fabulous cushion for me as part of the 'Pay it Forward' blog-love exercise we participated in a couple of months ago. And look at this gorgeous packaging! Thank you Cindy!

And a big thank you to Rie at Crafty Rie for my unexpected win in her giveaway. I wanted to get a photo of me wearing it but, as always, this fine art seems beyond my abilities ;) I have discovered, though, what I'd look like with two noses...

My Creative Space - Completing PiFs

I'm playing along with Kirsty's My Creative Space today. To join in or to have a peek at other creative spaces pop over to Kootoyoo.

Earlier in the year I signed up for a Pay It Forward (PiF) and received some gorgeous crochet goodies from Crafty Rie. The deal was that I had to then Pay it Forward to others and some brave souls signed up, not realising that it would be nearly xmas before they received their goodies... sorry guys. But I can tell you now that 5 out of my 7 PiF* goodies are in the post! Hand-printed and hand-stitched felt brooches.... PiF completed :)

*Two of my PiF people have not responded to emails or messages left on their blogs.

Paying it Forward!

here's some fun

but it takes more than one

you need to participate

so that the fun generates

i make something for you

then you get to make too

it's a way to say thanks

without breaking any... banks?

Okay, I know! It's an appallingly shocking rhyme! But this is good fun – a Pay it Forward! Have you seen these before? I've only just discovered them, and, in my great excitement, managed to sign up for TWO of them... leaping before I look again, yes. The two I've signed up for are at Crafty Rie's and Kiss the Birdie.

The details are below, as per usual, with one small exception... Seeing as I've rashly signed up for more than one I'm going to change the rules a little. I'm going to make something for Rie and Cindy in addition to my 5 or less who sign up below... Does that sound fair?

SO HERE'S THE DEAL:

I am entering into the following contract with the first 5 people who comment on this post and then commit to do the same on their blog. Just read below and if you feel up to the task copy the following into your blog and leave me a comment. I am willing to post overseas (I am in Australia, but remember you must commit on your blog to do the same to others).

1. I make no guarantees that you will like what I make. Whatcha get is whatcha get.

2. What I create will be just for you, with love.

3. It’ll be done this year (2009).

4. I will not give you any clue what it’s going to be. It will be something made in the real world and not something cyber. It may be weird or beautiful. Or it may be monstrous and annoying. (unlikely!) Who knows? Not you, that’s for sure!

5. I reserve the right to do something strange.

6. In return, all you need to do is post this text on your blog and make 5 things for the first 5 to respond to your blog post.

7. Send your mailing address - after I contact you.

Welcome to everyone. I will however, make an effort to do something that you like based on what I see on your blog, BUT there are no guarantees.

So that's that!! Leave a comment and you'll be part of it!

Come on.... you know you want to....!
