I'm playing along with Kirsty's My Creative Space meme today. Visit Kootoyoo to join in or see more spaces :)
There are a lot of things I should be doing... instead I found myself working away on this simple dress idea. I made up the pattern as I cut and adjusted as I went. It's fully lined and I had some fun with one of those chunky zips too. Somewhere along the way the pattern on the fabric (hugely discounted Orla Kiely bed linen!) wasn't center-balanced anymore so I think I'll make a brooch out of my bunny ears design too. Can you see my bunny tail? :)
Happy Creative Space day - hope it's a great day for everyone.
Right...the dress is quite lovely but I'm straining my eyes to see all the DIVINE stuff going on in the background! Gorgeous Kylie. xxx
WOWSER, Kylie! But then I guess you'd know I'd say that ;-) x
This is lovely. I am sensing a 60s vibe here.
Love it! I wouldn't have notice the centre being out of balanced just thought you designed it to be that way.
This would look great with some platform shoes! I love the vintage 60s feel of it. Now we just need a picture of you wearing it!
That is quite some dress!! I love it, love the colour scheme too, love Posie
Ha, I'm with Kirsty--I kept eying the things in the background! The dress is lovely, too. I especially like that contrasting zipper.
Your bunny ears are perfectly colour matched and style matched to the divine Orla!
Lookin very spunky there Miss Kylie. I think you should be modelling!! As always, I like that it's a little off balance. And yes... I can see the tail ;-) Clever girl.
So bloomin' fabulous I'm hopping about the place. I reckon you've inspired me to put those knitty sticks down. Not that I'm batting anywhere near your league. Wow.
yes I lvoe the dress, but you know I love the eyes!! I need the eyes. I NEED them.
the bunny ears are a beautiful touch! loving the cool zip too + the overall great frock :)
I love a chunky zip. Looks great kylie. X
It has such a cool sixties vibe but the chunky zip makes it NOW! Fab work Kylie.
Oh that dress is great! I bought some discounted Orla Kiely linen too, but unlike you I actually use it on my bed! Should I ever get tired of it as a doona cover though, I know where I'm coming for inspiration!
