My Creative Space - Another brooch

I'm playing along with Kirsty's My Creative Space meme again this week. Pop over to Kootoyoo's to see other spaces and to join in yourself.

This week, another embroidered brooch... I'm playing around with different designs. This one came out of the screen printed fabric I designed some months ago now. It's fascinating how totally different it looks once embroidered, don't you think? That's it really - short and sweet this week! Have a very happy Creative Space day :)

Wow, there really is a huge difference with the embroidery isn't there ? I love the contrast of the light blue. Thanks for your comment, yes, the weather has been gorgeous but I wouldn't mind some night time rain, that would be perfect :)

Your embroidery is so textured and satisfying Kylie. I love it and I love how you just keep developing new ideas and styles, playing around.
PS I popped into your shop the other day hoping to snaffle me a Fleur brooch and was both miffed and thrilled (for you!) to find them all gone. Luckily I suspect there will be no end of gorgeous options... I'll be checking in regularly!

Kylie, I am in awe. It would take me weeks to attempt that sort of intricate stitchery and would never look as gorgeous.

The transformation to embroidery is simply stunning! It must take you forever to make all these stitches but that's also what this makes it a vey unique and special brooch.
