I'm playing along with Kirsty's My Creative Space meme again this week. Pop over to Kootoyoo's to see other spaces and to join in yourself.
This week, another embroidered brooch... I'm playing around with different designs. This one came out of the screen printed fabric I designed some months ago now. It's fascinating how totally different it looks once embroidered, don't you think? That's it really - short and sweet this week! Have a very happy Creative Space day :)

Kylie that is a beautiful brooch. So beautiful.
Oh Kylie. So beautiful. I know I've said it before but I have to say it again. I just love your aesthetic.
So pretty, it really is amazing to see the transformation from the screen print design. And I love your tiny stitches, so in love with my embroidered brooch.
Great colour combination, very pretty.

Take care and I look forward to seeing what you come up with next week.
Lovely brooch! Nice to see another one!
Wow, there really is a huge difference with the embroidery isn't there ? I love the contrast of the light blue. Thanks for your comment, yes, the weather has been gorgeous but I wouldn't mind some night time rain, that would be perfect :)
I like how deeply embroidered it is. Such texture! I like the tag on the back too.
For some reason it reminded me of a sky full of stars...and it is really, really gorgeous!
They just keep getting juicier and yummier...

Looks very nice!!I love how it came out - looks like totally different design - just like a tiny reef =0)
Your embroidery is so textured and satisfying Kylie. I love it and I love how you just keep developing new ideas and styles, playing around.
PS I popped into your shop the other day hoping to snaffle me a Fleur brooch and was both miffed and thrilled (for you!) to find them all gone. Luckily I suspect there will be no end of gorgeous options... I'll be checking in regularly!
I love that your screen printed design influenced your gorgeous brooch. I also really love the stitching of your label on the back. Such a beutifully finished piece.
Wow! So beautifully textural and intricate!
I love it. The texture and the colours! Beautiful. Love the details on the back! xo Meagan.
Both are really nice - great work!
Kylie, I am in awe. It would take me weeks to attempt that sort of intricate stitchery and would never look as gorgeous.
that is lovely. such delicate work
You're very clever to tranfer your design from print to embroidery. The detail on your brooch is amazing.

The transformation to embroidery is simply stunning! It must take you forever to make all these stitches but that's also what this makes it a vey unique and special brooch.
