I love post..

I do love it when I hear the postman's motorbike stop out the front and... well, linger. The longer he lingers the more likely there are lots of goodies being deposited in our mailbox :)
And so it is today.
He lingered and lingered... and I got more and more excited. Finally, he drove off and I raced down to the box. Yeah! Mail for me! A parcel from Mieke Willems in Belgium (*eek!*) and a parcel from Gretchenmist in Melbourne (*eek!*). I think it's funny how the parcels themselves are so treasured... I just love holding them for a minute and soaking in this delicious feeling :) So, what are they? An exquisitely embroidered pin cushion by Renilde from At-Swim-Two-Birds and a magnificently beautiful calendar by Belinda at Gretchenmist. Thank you both for your wonderful work!

Love that moment before opening the parcel - the anticipation. I wish parcels would arrive in the mail every day.

A lovely feeling receiving parcels - I love sending them too. Nice presents Kylie, especially like the calendar.

Isn't it great when you open a parcel to discover something inside which has been so lovingly put together. I love the collage especially the little hole punches floating away.
