Bonjour Mon Coussin

I've been thinking about screenprinting cushion designs and making covers for some outdoor furniture, so naturally my mind has taken a soft furnishings bent... ;) Isn't it funny how you suddenly notice a particular thing once you have one yourself? You know, suddenly you see your make of car on every street or you fall pregnant and all you see are babies everywhere...? So, here you have it, the beginning of what may possibly be a week of soft furnishing preoccupations! (Good warning I think in case you want to tune out for the week! ;))

So, what do you think of those gorgeous babies? Fabulous cushion covers fabrique en France with the images drawn from vintage postcards and found ephemera. They are the creations Claire Eglizeaud and Paul Moreau of Bonjour Mon Coussin. I love their retro aesthetic, and I'm always a complete sucker for maps and (of course) optical ephemera (sorry, can't help that one!) Visit their website to see the full fabulous range. I found them via this lovely blog.
