Experimenting with meterage and wanting to try something simple and graphic; something suitable for lining perhaps. This is from a block I carved a couple of weeks ago now.
Originally, I wanted it to go with my other block - something to make it a bit more interesting, less twee... but now I'm thinking it stands alone pretty well :)
Of course, I couldn't resist trying it with that other block (I don't really like it I have to admit!). My Big Girl calls it the 'Bunny Ears' design.
Hope it's a good day for everyone. Don't forget I'm having a collar giveaway!
I wish I knew how to do this Kylie. It looks like such fun.
ReplyDeleteI just love it Kylie, it looks great! Simple but really effective. And in your lovely limey green.

ReplyDeleteI do like it on its own. It would be very suitable for lining, but I think it would do just fine as an outer fabric too!

ReplyDeletekylie, i love it! and always appreciate learning a new word "twee", awesome!!! i looked it up right away b/c it sounded so "sweet"...little did i know that it's Brit slang for that exact word. haha, so good.
ReplyDeleteand the bunny ears sounds like a perfect title too. oh and just got to Baz Luhrman's brilliant sunscreen song on your player - 100% adored.

ReplyDeleteI think its fabulous! Simple and striking.
ReplyDeleteI don't think it needs to be hidden in the lining either. I think it would make a stunning garment or part of one.
Bunny Ears ROCK! I would happily skirt around in that design. And simple is perfect.
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely love this print!!! Perfect colours and pattern and balance! WANT :)
