I've been madly trying to think of a design for my tea towel swap. After weeks of staring at a blank page I finally decided to take the advice of a very wise woman and 'design for the bin'. So, here are my bin liners ;) None of them are quite 'right' so I'm still doodling on. Maybe I will use them one day for something, but mostly they are random patterns that I've pushed onto the page just to get myself moving...
Oh I love all of these! Especially that third design, it really jumps out at you!
ReplyDeleteThey really are all lovely, I'm always so amazed at the fabulous images that go through peoples minds, and to express them the way you do is magic - nice work!
ReplyDeleteI love them, particularly the animals hiding behind the green doilies x
ReplyDelete2nd, 3rd and 4th are my faves.
ReplyDeletewith the 3rd being my utter FAVE. I'm with kim.. that one really pops.
gorgeous doodles Kylie.
See here I was opting for number five - it reminds me of that gorgeous fabric you had on the go (which I am still sure should not remain in some deep dark vault). But I also really like two. Potential there, non? I like the sense of space.
ReplyDelete(my Mum is going to be so chuffed).
the first one is my favourite, nice work kylie!!
ReplyDeleteI love the blue one. Gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteYou've got some really great designs. I especially love the first one.
ReplyDeleteI really like the first one and the blue from the last one is lovely.
ReplyDeleteI love the second design, but they are all very cool and unique.
ReplyDeleteHow whimsical and magical! I like them all! I think I need to learn to design for the bin!!!
ReplyDeleteKylie, thanks for the links, found my way to some linen blanks that I have been keen to find for my screen printing passion
ReplyDeleteI love the second design, too. The black and red are very striking together.
ReplyDeletethese are so much fun. I don't know if I have a favourite... If I had to choose, I'd say the first is my fave. x :)
ReplyDeleteThey are all such lovely designs, I think you have done and amazing job sonsidering that you were designing for the bin :-) I really love the jug/ vase one and the one with the bunny and kitty.
ReplyDeleteThey are all pretty good....I think I like number 2 & 4 the best.....they would look great on display somewhere in the kitchen or hanging over my shoulder as a tea towel often is.
