My Sunday Stash this week is yet another small collection – this time, my crochet doilies. I just love them. All the work and minute detail that has gone into them. I had a day in Belgium last year en route to somewhere and the one thing I bought was... you guessed it, doilies! One day soon, I'm going to finally learn how to crochet and I can't wait to start creating my own little doilies etc. Happy weekend everyone!
good luck with your new adventure with needles and yarn...
ReplyDeleteI am another doily lover. thanks for sharing :)
ReplyDeleteLove the doily's! I have a collection of them too. You have a beautiful blog by the way.
ReplyDeleteLove the doilies, my Mum has many drawers full of doilies, she's always rotating them from display. Doilies will always remind me of her (that's a good thing!!).
ReplyDeleteI think I need some doilies too! Lovely!
ReplyDeleteI can really appreciate the level of skill and the time involved in making one of these beautiful doilies. They are lovely. I have a small collection myself. :)

Thanks for all your lovely comments - I just LOVE doilies, just looking at them is enough for me, but yes, a project would be a gorgeous thing too ;) So envious of your lace making demonstration, Rebecca! You are a star, Renilde - I would love to go to Belgium again but it's not going to happen for a while yet I'm afraid. Thanks everyone! K
