Atomic variation

I'm working on a new fabric design for a handbag panel...

... but I haven't been able to stop adding to it...

... the colour just kept spreading...

I kind of liked the creative anarchy of leaving a white patch, but I had to see what it looked like all 'finished'...

I like them both actually. Looking forward to playing with this design a bit more... spreading it out a bit maybe.

Have a lovely weekend :)

The design is fab, Kylie and at first I was screaming...NOOOO, leave it white!! But now it's all filled in, I'm hooked on that orange! Keep going, girl, you're onto a winner whatever you do ;-)

Ooow, I'm really liking the 3rd pic, where it's almost half and half. Is 50/50 an option for your bag panel? I like the contrast between the two x.

I might do some with half white and some all coloured in... mix it up a little. This is what I like about experimenting as I go, so many possibilities. Thanks for the encouraging comments Karen + Cindy :) Kx

There's something about 'any' shade of orange and pink that just really appeals to me. I think they are two very exciting colours to work with. The design is ace! and I love how much fun you're having with it. xo have a great sunday! K

Well I definitely love the colours and it's great to see you having so much fun experimenting. I quite like the second photo with just a spot of orange. I'd like to see it 50/50.

Pink and orange are one of my favourite colour combinations.

it's great! and interesting to see the development ~ can completely relate to 'having to' fill in the whole background!
love the colours :)
