Friday Favourites

I have two favourite finds this week. Both are artists who share an impeccable sense of form and colour. Firstly, the exquisite work of Anna Maria Potamiti. This really is work to lose yourself in – the colour combinations alone are such a visual feast, and then there's her delicate arresting style which inspires the imagination and feeds the soul. I really really love this work. You can visit her Etsy store here and she has a gorgeous blog here and a Flickr set of her beautiful work and inspirations here.

My other Friday favourite is Gretchenmist. I think many of us are already familiar with her beautiful paintings, but she has begun working on mini ones to make up as brooches! (I was so excited I thought about keeping this to myself but honour + decency won, thank goodness! This really is the sort of loveliness that should be surfing the tide of blogland!) So, have a look – the lovely blog is here and there's also two gorgeous store outlets – on Udessi here and an Etsy one here. Happy Friday everyone!

P.S. When these come up on Etsy or wherever, I get first dibs, okay?!

  4. Thanks for the lovely comments. Your work is amazing and totally deserves to be gushed over :) Does this mean I have dibs on your brooches? :))
Re my never-ending story of will I Etsy or will I not... I've been trying to get my act together on that one but I'm highly unorganised ;) That horoscope though! What a laugh! I know you could read anything into it but I'm trying to make myself bite the bullet and just do it! K

  5. No way I'm letting you have dibs – like you I have had my eye on these from the start, so you might just have to fight me for it (and lots of others by the sound of it!). Hope to chat to you next Sunday (perhaps about "getting your act together" and how I can get involved???).
