Doodle wrap

I had to send off a birthday parcel. I thought brown paper with letter stamps might
look good... but no, it looked not-so-good. So I started doodling on the wrapping
thinking about these gorgeous kids and their personalities.

I always think of Bree as a child of nature...

And Ella is the most exquisite ethereal girl...

It made me realise how much I miss drawing.

The designs aren't 'finished' by any means, but they've given me some ideas
for a new pattern. So I'm happy now... very :)

I love doodling - it seems to loosen up the creativity don't you think -especially with a felt tip black pen? Your lucky recipients are lucky girls too!!

Same I keep my drawing board set up so then when I feel inspired I have a go, I get withdrawals!
Those drawings will make great designs, keep us posted!

I love how doodling takes you to different places. I often do that when I'm stuck on the phone with someone yapping on forever...

Kylie, these designs are so personalized and special!!! those girls are gonna love them. gosh, the extent of my doodling skills stops at stick people with bubble feet and oblong heads ; )

you should totally turn these patterns into something more sustainable, can't imagine what that'd be but i know you do and can't wait to see what you come up with! xo ♥
