Tonight's the night people!
Billions of people in 130 countries will be participating tonight in a bid to show just how easy it can be to cut down on our consumption and aid the environment. So, flick off those switches at 8.30pm for Earth Hour 2011 :)

(I'd love to see before and after satellite photos!)

To my absolute shame, this time round the Earthly Hour slipped my mind. However - I did participate. I was in bed, lights off and slumbering the sleep of the dead - or at least a log.

I lit candles in old jars and placed them around the house, out of the reach of little hands. Cohen was so fascinated. He stood looking up at them for ages, just entranced. He would wander away then wander back again, then pretend to blow them out saying 'hot'. :)
