Winners are grinners...
... and I'm certainly grinning here! :) The lovely Nicola at My Handmade Heart had a giveaway last week and guess who won one of her exquisite paper sculptures? Yep, grinning me! The only problem is where to place it? It looks good everywhere...
...maybe in the planter box? It has a fabulous public art look about it there!
... maybe on my bedside shelf? So gorgeous but very selfish of me...(geddit?). So, maybe on the sideboard? ...but that's not really the centre of the room...
I think I know the best place. Sorry for the washed out photo, but don't you think it looks wonderful here? Thank you Nicola for such a fabulous giveaway! To see all of Nicola's amazing paper sculptures and craft works you can visit her blog here and her Etsy store here.

Very cool.
I have been eyeing these off online and I think they look awesome, especially the 'lamp' ones I have seen.
Others creativity never ceases to amaze me - you are one lucky chicka : )

Annamaria xxx (see how restrained I was today? Sorry for the loooong comment yesterday! :) )
Oh yes. I'm coveting everything on your sideboard there Kylie. You have exquisite taste. And Nikki's sculpture fits right in! I won her lovely paper garland and I'm trying to find the best spot to drape it... lots of options!
Oh lucky you kylie, it looks great!
lucky you ... very cool paper art
yay you! It's awesome... and it does look great everywhere.... though I like the middle two options best.
I think you need to do us all a little tour of your home Kylie. You seem to have the knack for design - it all looks so lovely.
And there's nothing quite like the feeling of winning something is there :)
It definitely looks good there with all of the other lovely shapes.
Thanks for your comment about my Rag Nest post. I love to experiment with crochet and use all types of materials and look beyond the box, as the saying goes. I once crocheted with some stretchy gold thread meant for present wrapping which worked out really well, i'll have to try and include a post about it soon.
