Sunday Stash: Crochet Doilies

My Sunday Stash this week is yet another small collection – this time, my crochet doilies. I just love them. All the work and minute detail that has gone into them. I had a day in Belgium last year en route to somewhere and the one thing I bought was... you guessed it, doilies! One day soon, I'm going to finally learn how to crochet and I can't wait to start creating my own little doilies etc. Happy weekend everyone!

Love the doilies, my Mum has many drawers full of doilies, she's always rotating them from display. Doilies will always remind me of her (that's a good thing!!).

I can really appreciate the level of skill and the time involved in making one of these beautiful doilies. They are lovely. I have a small collection myself. :)

They're all so pretty. I never used to appreciate pretty. I think something's happened to me as I've got older - I'll be knitting next!

Oh, I love this collection, I'm so so jealous! I saw a lacemaker in Bruges and it was such an incredible process to watch.

Thanks for all your lovely comments - I just LOVE doilies, just looking at them is enough for me, but yes, a project would be a gorgeous thing too ;) So envious of your lace making demonstration, Rebecca! You are a star, Renilde - I would love to go to Belgium again but it's not going to happen for a while yet I'm afraid. Thanks everyone! K
