Some more inspirational loveliness... this time, the "letters" work of artist Marina Camargo. It's no secret that I'm a total fan of just about any typography- or paper-based art. I just love the clean linear simplicity that these works often have. Marina Camargo is a perfect example of this simplicity – the kind that somehow also dominates spaces; commanding attention and occupying the brain as it tries to decode her seemingly straightforward pieces. She is particularly interested in the "lost space" between what is read and what is seen. You can find her amazing portfolio of work here, along with detailed artist notes on her work. I found her via here.

Kylie, you are the best art-detective! You discover the most interesting work... I left you a comment abit late, two postings back, maybe you wouldn't see it- I should have just mentioned it here. About Kate Jenkins, did you see her work? Anyway, eitherway, have a great day!

i'm the same as you a typografic lover, it happens sometimes, when i see a beautiful typeface, or a lovely lay out, i'm setting up a cry of admiration. Love this work.
Coming from you two, that's very high praise! Thank you :)))

Thanks for the fab comments - what is it about text that is so inspiring? I always react positively to it myself. Lovely to know I'm not alone in this affliction! Take care! :) K
