Our Creative Spaces - Pixel in Progress

I'm supposed to be working on my 'month of finishing', but I've strayed...
I kept thinking about this wonderful inspiration and found myself
crocheting a million little squares...

Strike while the iron is hot, as they say...
and welcome to pixel crochet cushion :)

You are truly earning yourself the crochet queen title Miss Kylie, with all these fabulous experiments in colour and design.

Once again I am in love! It's brilliant. No wonder you put away the other works in progress. All is forgiven. :)

Awesome! Maybe shades of black & grey for the Mr & turn it into a laptop cover?!

JUST.FAB.U.LOUS.

My favouritest ever. Now I think it needs to be morphed into rug-size. (???)

I love this! I've just inherited some squares (lucky me) and might have to create my own little quilt for my daughters doll bed! Cyndy

Stunning! I love how neatly you seem to join all your squares and triangle too... makes me jealous, mine are always a mess.

Awesome! - isn't it great when inspiration strikes AND you follow through? And I agree with the comment above - everything came together so neatly. Well done!

Your work is very graphic and I LOVE it. I can understand why you got inspired by the carpet. Your stitches look so neat. How do you attach them together?

Can you believe I'm confessing I'm more of a 'square' than a 'triangle'? Love this one!

I love it, and I can see a lot of possibilities with tiny squares!

Fabulous!

I now have visions of massive crocheted portraits... wouldn't that be fun!

I love how you're using a traditional technique and taking into the 21st century.

OMG that is fab!!
Kylie you are on to something totally amazing.... I've always associated crochet with old lady stuff but this proves it is anything but.
I cannot wait to see what you come up with next.

I've thought about doing the same for a blanket but my knowledge of joining methods are not the greatest. Love how your pillow turned out. Best wishes, Tammy
